The Writing Competition

The winner will have their article published in our Magazine and Online Journal and will receive an invitation to attend the 2023 International Conference. The Writing Competition is open to all undergraduate students (regardless of International Conference application status), and we highly encourage those who were rejected/waitlisted from the general International Conference application to apply. Applicants will write and submit an article addressing one of the provided prompts related to the theme “Beyond the Horizon” as an alternative form of entry to the 49th International Conference. Contest Outline

  • The contest is open to undergraduate students from around the world.

  • There is one submission maximum allowed per applicant

  • The deadline is August 1st and acceptance decisions will be rolling

  • Winners from previous deadlines will not be eligible for subsequent deadlines.

  • Those already accepted to attend the International Conference will not be eligible to win this contest.

  • The winner will have their article published in the International Conference magazine.

  • The winner will be given the opportunity to attend the Business Today 49th International Conference, all expenses paid.


Contest Guidelines

  • Submissions should be original articles of 800-1000 words.

  • Articles should address one of the provided prompts related to the theme of "Beyond the Horizon".

  • Submissions should be in English.

  • Students should submit their articles as a Microsoft Word document.

  • The title page should include the student's name, university, date of submission, and the choice of prompt, if applicable.

  • The body of the title page MUST include the student's full name, university, major, and expected graduation year.
